ACTS of Sharing

Let no qualified potential working dog
miss their opportunity to excel

Our mission is to train service and facility dogs. Sometimes we have dogs that have great potential, but not for the jobs that we are training for here at ACTS. Our options are to release these dogs as pets or release them to other professionals and organizations that can utilize the excellent breeding and the training that we have been able to provide them. This option allows them to excel in other working placements. It is also the option that does come with some financial burdens.

We of course always want to see the dogs we have bred, or have brought into our program, excel and do the work we feel they are capable of doing. To enable us to support the placement of these amazing dogs to be trained for PTSD, diabetic alert, explosive detection, rescue, or for other jobs that we do not ourselves train for, we have created the ACTS of Sharing program.

If you are interested in helping us find the right training opportunities for our amazing puppies and adult dogs that don’t fit in our programs but could do well somewhere else, donate now to help us make this possible. Let’s be sure no potential working dog misses their opportunity to excel.

Say hello to Maverick. Maverick just arrived at Canines for Service where he will be training for a veteran with PTSD. We saw something special in this puppy that made us feel like he woudl excell at this work. Since we do not train dogs for PTSD ourselves, we contacted the folks at Canines for Service and made the arrangements to transfer him into their program.

We have great hopes for his success there!

If you would like to support Mavericks journey please consider donating to help us recoop the costs associated with gifting him to Canines for Service.
